We aim to get your order to you as soon as possible.

We employ strict quality control to ensure that your product arrives in perfect condition. With fabrics, this means individually checking them for any potential flaws and hand cutting them to your exact requirement. This process may take a little longer but we will not send out orders that we have not personally checked first.
Standard delivery is FREE on everything you order from Julia Clare online for delivery within mainland UK when you spend £50 or more. This is subject to availability, and does not include gift vouchers, or premium delivery services.
International delivery is available and is charged on a weight/location basis. You can automatically see a quote for shipping when you view your basket. Delivery times for International orders may vary.

Returns & Replacements

Returned Goods

We will accept returned items for credit provided they have not been cut, damaged or opened in anyway. Outward and return carriage will not be credited. Claims must be made within 30 days of despatch. After this time claims may be refused. As fabrics are individually cut to size for each customer they can only be returned if they are faulty as outlined in the Faulty Good section below. We recommend requesting a fabric sample before purchasing.

Faulty Goods

Please inspect your items as soon as you receive the. Whilst every effort is made to control quality and inspect each item defore despatch, errors can be made or damage may occur during transit. Therefore we request that you inspect your items before cutting. If the fabric is damaged or has a flaw then please notify us either via email or in writing within 1 month of despatch and we will send instructions for returning the item. We will then inspect the item and look into your claim.

Fabric Variance

Pattern: Fabric is not a stable 'substance', it cannot be taken for granted that when it is printed or woven, the pattern will be completely 'square' on the cloth. Pattern matching width to width cannot be guaranteed. TIP: If you are using multiple widths (for example when making curtains) make certain that the patter alignment is adequate BEFORE cutting your fabric

Widths:Fabric widths will vary

Flaws: When held against the light small visible flaws may be apparent. We cannot provide guarantees against this.

Shrinkage: Fabrics are not guaranteed against shrinkage. Stretching and shrinkage of up to 4% on any fabric is an accepted industry tolerance. This may be caused by atmospheric variables beyond our control. TIP: Allow a considerable hem allowance to compensate for this.

Colour Match:Whilst every effort is made to ensure a close colour match as possible to samples, we cannot guarantee to match the shade exactly.

All these factors will be taken into consideration when assessing individual claims.

Colour-Match Service

Please note that we will do our best to match your cutting but in some cases it may not be possible. If your cutting is no more than 100grams in weight then we will return it with your samples. If it is over 100grams then unfortunately we cannot return your cutting.
